500MB–> Disk Space i mean space on the server.
5GB Transfer –> 5GB Bandwidth
Unlimited Bandwidth –> No worries even if you get Hundreds of Visitors as Traffic since you have unlimited Bandwidth.
My Suggestion –> Go with Second Plan, Always be on the Safer Side.

500 Mb is the disk space like your computer hard disk and 5Gb transfer refers to bandwidth it depends on number of visitors and pageloads your site getting as soon as your limit completes you need to update your bandwidth from hosting provider

First I will tell you about 500mb space and 10gb transfer.
It means you can store files of upto the size of 500mb on a server(It is a size of your server’s hardisk). 10gb is equal to 10000mb so it means your files of 500mb can be downloaded only 20 times from your server (500×20=10000)
Now for 10gb space and unlimited bandwidth
It means the size of your server disk is 10gb and it can downloaded for unlimited times from your server.
But be carefull because there is nothing like unlimited if you r site will consume too much bandwidth your hosting company will either block your account or will say you to upgrade to more expensive account

In simple words, if you are going to start a blog, then go with first plan, and is you are former blogger and want to move to a new host, go with second option.
