what is meant by VPS hosting, what is the use of that one?

VPS Stands for Virtual Private Server.
In it the power of server is divided using the software, which means if a server has processor of 3Gigahertz and two user are requesting a VPS of 1.5ghz and 1.5ghz the hosting company will give same server to both clients but using the software both clients will be able to use only 1.5ghz power of CPU allocated to them.
VPS has 2 benefit first it is cheap than dedicated server and it can serve high traffic websites easily without slowing down your website which is not possible in shared hosting

VPS hosting means that your hosting plan is allocated to a virtual PC. You can do anything with that virtual PC and often there are higher limits or no limits of usage.
