Posting options in blogspot blog are not saved

In blogspot posting, the posting option is default,
1> Reader commnets :: don’t allow
2> Backlinks :: don’t allow
these two options are always set by me to allow, but for every now post, in post options, I have to select them again. How can I make this default.

If you don’t want the user comments to be accepted then a better option would be to hide the whole comments section directly from the blog which is possible from the theme editor section. If that section is removed completely you don’t have to worry about selecting the option. Other than that this cannot be set to default for the whole blog.
