i will also recommend Reseting your Password..
if still you wanna try to recover your Password you can try this..

Browse and Open the file /etc/shadow
In the file entries wud be like
” username:Kz5iZvRZAyXkQ:14132::::90:: ”

in the above sting after 1st COLON is your Password in Encrypted Format till the next COLON..Copy this String and
paste it in this page
http://md5.my-addr.com/md5_decrypt-md5_cracker_online/md5_decoder_tool.php
try Decrypting it if it works then you will get your Password.

This Above Method is not tested by me it’s just an idea..if you wanna try you can surely..to access the file you need to be root user..
