I think that’s a good suggestion. What are your comments on this Amit, can we downgrade wordpress in this manner or what other options are there to downgrade the wordpress?

Thanks Amit, I had given 777 permission to the whole of WP-content folder, but still it did not work. I will try the plugin you mentioned and see if it works!!
