how to arrived “The connection to the server has failed. Account: ‘adhirtorpedo@gmail.com’, Server: ‘pop.gmail.com’, Protocol: POP3, Port: 940, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E” this problem?

Such situation is quite unpleasant and probably one of the most probable solutions would become the next tool. I fortunately found out it several days ago at the soft forum – http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/outlook_express.html

the error number tells that the mail-client cannot reach your server.
Try to configure your outlook express correctly, http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=76147
If problem still presists, then there may be some firewall/proxy preventing you to access the port 995.
Are you on some kind of mobile-internet? Companies like aircel, uninor etc have their own proxy server. They might be blocking you. Try with a broadband connection/ BSNL,AIRTEL etc mobile-internet connection then.
