Hi,
i have a Laptop and A normal Desktop PC,
Mostly I work With My laptop,
what i want to know Is i want to use my desktop monitor with my laptop So it should be something like this but only two screens one laptop and one external my laptop has an extra VGA cable slot, so does that require a software to do so?

if i am not wrong that post shows How to Connect 2 Computers to 1 Monitor ,
and i want to know how to connect 2 monitors to one Laptop,
So what it should be like i can see movie on one screen and work on another may Be
