New operating system from google.

Now Google is all set to launch its own operating system. The officials have said that it is a extension of chrome and its name will be the same as chrome i.e. it will be called as ‘the chrome operating system’
It is estimated that this OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.
Now the only thing remained is will it affect the market captured by Microsoft ?
