Does Uninstalling fonts in computer increase PC Speed?

it is heard that by uninstalling fonts the system can speed up.Kindly give a guidelines on this issue.

uninstalling font will not increase system speed.But if then also you want to delete fonts goto control panel>fonts select fonts and delete them.
For increasing system speed use ccleaner or tune up utilities.

If you have a huge chunk of extra fonts, other than the default oens, say in hundreds, it might slow up the loading time of programs like Word as they have to load the whole list and the previews.
Otherwise, general boot up time does not get affected.

Yes, if you a huge number of fonts manually installed it will slow your office applications. So uninstall unnecessary fonts. Controlpanel–>Fonts–>Delete unwanted fonts

though fonts dont slow down your computer to a large extend.but also too much fonts is not good. so you can delete the fonts to free your system.

Yes it is true.
Over amount of fonts installed will decrease system speed.
So uninstall useless fonts.
To do this, go to control panel and there you can see fonts.
Open that folder and delete unwanted fonts.
