Tentatively, when are the iPad and iPhone 4 devices going to be launched in India?

It’s been a pretty long time since the days Apple began this on us. And, with the iPad 2 and iPhone 5 round the corner, it’s high time Apple starts considering India for everything.

yes,i also think the same why apple does not considers India significant for its products where all other gaint companies are coming to invest in India.apple should not have delayed the launch of ipad and iphone so long.

There are no dates given by my contacts in Apple because they normally try to sell their iPhones through postpaid plans through Airtel & Vodafone. Currently the iPhone 3GS is being sold at a hefty price of Rs 37000 for 16Gb version and this directly gives a idea that the iPhone 4 would be sold around at Rs 40,000+ prices.
Its better to get both the iPhone or iPad through UK or Hongkong where you get factory unlocked devices at a price range of around Rs 35000.

That sounds good enough. Will check it out.
And, jhbalaji, the Samsung Galxy Tab is a lot sluggish and poor in performance with the Touchwiz UI over Android 2.2. I’ve tried the device myself and is a waste of money, especially considering the premium of 5000 over the Grey Market iPad.
