1st place in google search, for the keyword "eamcet 2009"

I am wondering how the andhrapradeshstate.in got 1st place in google search, for the keyword “eamcet 2009″. So, if i know the reasons (specific, not general), I can try to improve the rankings in other keywords also. Unfortunately, I could not able to find out the reasons behind that ranking. So, I request our Admin, Please help me in finding out the reasons behind that top ranking in that particular keyword. You know that I didn’t implement any SEO for that keyword(not only for that keyword but also for the total site).

Thank you Mr.Chetan. But unfortunately you have given the answer in general. It was in some other place 2 days back. One blogspot.com was in 1st place, which is in 2nd place now. I didn’t do any thing to come to 1st pace. As you said, the competition is very less now (150000 only). But for that competition itself, it was somewhere behind. But how it came to top without doing any action? I didn’t increase anything regarding relevance or keyword density or metatags ( I don’t use any meta tags).

Unless you buy some xxx$ worth of seo tools which track everything ranging from backlinks from external links, internal links, age of the top 10 posts, and lots more factors you cannot get answers to these questions directly. There are lot & lots of factors which need to be analyzed in detail before you can get a answer to this.

I want do give you one answer. Google Indexes the site and keep that page for some examination by the computer software. which order the pages for best results. After the examination completes it will reorder the results with that page. Be aware and get ready to face competition from other sites which are already improving their results.

It can be many factors that has decided your position in the search for that particular keyword, like -
- The relevance of the subject in the website
- Keyword Density in the page
- Meta Tags have no errors
And might be that people who are into SEO have not concentrated much on this keyword and topic still as the exams are still 3 months to go.. So, less competition can also be another reason.
One can find out why the rankings are low, but for top ranking there can be no perfect reasons explained except the above points.
