There is one excellent software application which works using the command line called as the DB2RSS offering you a option to Monitor your database tables and the data within it and also creating a RSS file which is temporarily generated to be subscribed through a feedreader and keep you updated with the changes in the database. The software is available as a freeware and supports platforms like mySQL, InterBase (Firebird) and Blackfish SQL. Try it out here – http://www.be-precision.com/products/precision-utils/#db2rss
