Dear Mr. Amit Bhawani,
I am Swoham Bhattacharyya, regular subscriber and reader of your technology updates. I have found your tech updates very marvelous, outstanding & extraordinary. No other tech updates blog or sites are so much informative, latest updated & up to the mark. This I am telling from the bottom of my heart very seriously.
Sir, from two days, I am facing one very serious problem and I am unable to solve it by myself anyway and that is why I required your help very profoundly The concern is that one of my hard disk drive partitions has got formatted accidentally by me two days ago and all the important data stored on it got lost and I have also not taken any solid backup of that.. The hard disk drive partition is of 10 GB in size and the data stored on that particular drive partition was also approximately of same size. All my files are very well organized by folder wise in a very well manner. I have used almost many recovery softwares downloaded from the internet to recover my lost data in exact form but was in vain.
So, my earnest request from you is to kindly suggest me the best possible solution (free data recovery software or any other alternatives as you may have) to recover my lost data in the form of files and folders exactly in the manner as was in earlier stage of formatting in a very organized manner (folder wise) as very much early as possible since it is well known that how much loss is suffered on losing important official data. I shall be very much thankful to you and obliged.
Thanking You.
Yours Sincerely
SWOHAM BHATTACHARYYA

First of all, you have to make sure, that nothing was written in that partition after formatting. As it can lead to overwriting. The data recovery software which may be useful after formatting may suit you is “EASEUS paretition recovery”, and “testdisk” . In testdisk, it is a CUI based interface, it comes with “photorec” which can recover data from any HDD, Flash drives require a greater storage for recovering(if 10 gb partition is to be recovered, more than 10 gb free space in another drive is needed). In this approach, you have to rename all files and re-order them to correct folders, as photorec recovers 100% files, but they are renamed to default names. And if everything fails, you may need to contact a data recovery shop, they will open your HDD, and then recvover the files by another machine.
