Hi friends!Is there any chance to repair a DVD Writer?Perhaps my DVD Writer lens is faulty.Can it be repaired?Tell me please.Thanks.

Definitely it can be repaired. If it is in warranty period then it can be repaired for free. Even if it is not in warranty you can go to the service center,they will repair it with some fees.

Try Using DVD Lens Cleaner. It will clean the lens of your DVD Drive, so it may function properly again.

Can you tell me in brief what’s your exact problem. If you doubt your lens, then try CD/DVD lens cleaning disc.

As I know DVD lenses are repairable but this is waste of money. I personally examine and advice you to buy new one it minimum 850 rs. if you think your DVD writer is dead. Repairing of a lens is not a good suggestion. After some time we get error.
For confirmation you should go manufactures service center and check it for issue, may be it is a miner problem. Before it try to clean your lens

Go to service centre,if it is in warranty they will repair/replace it in free.if it is not in warranty they will charge you.
