Btech+MBA is the right combination?

Is going for an MBA degree after Btech is the right decision. I think after studying for 4 years tech part and then switching over to MBA is totally rubbish. I totally oppose this as there will be no room for Engg Degree after having MBA.

My dear friend, i am having 17 years of experience in industry. what i feel is it is very good to do MBA after Btech. Dont see the combination see the knowledge you aquire.
One more thing, if you have an urgency to earn money than search for job else it is very good idea to do MBA after B Tech.

these days most of b.tech graduates go for MBA not m.tech.the reason is that is great acceptance for indian mba’s in foreign countries.

Yes, Btech+MBA is right combination. If you get B.Tech degree from good college with good marks and as well you got MBA degee from top cllege like IIM then it will be very very right combination. By that you can get more salary as well as fast promotion.

I don’t think that the B-Tech and MBA combination will do. Because these two streams are really different than each other and have no relationship. If you do MBA the value of your B-Tech Degree will be lost and you might have to do marketing jobs. So despite of doing B-Tech you will not get the job satisfaction.
